along with some information that might assist you

in getting ready for your weekend retreat!

What is a Scrapbook Retreat?

If you have never been to a scrapbook weekend before – you’re in for a treat! The beauty of this weekend - YOU get to decide what to do! Feel free to craft away as long as you desire, take time to relax, socialize and meet new friends, shop at our vendor booths, take classes, play games, get a massage, take advantage of the onsite location amenities, or anything else you choose to do on YOUR weekend retreat. Special gifts are always included, as well as an opportunity to win some great raffle prizes! Relaxation, Creativity and Fun are just a few words to describe your weekend away.

 

How much Scrappin’ space will I have?

We provide a 6' table all to yourself!
 

Can I sit with my friends?

Of course! Please let us know upon registration who your Kraftin' buddies are and we will be glad to keep you all together. 

 

Are children allowed?

We love children! But for the benefit and enjoyment of everyone, we ask that children attending must be 21 years of age or older.

 

Do I have to pack up my supplies each day?

No Way! Scrapbook the time away for as long as you like. Feel free to keep everything at your reserved space.

KraftyMoms518 and the hotel venue are NOT responsible for anything lost or stolen.

Is the crop room open around the clock?

Yes, the crop room will be open 24/7.

​

Will I have electricity at your weekend retreat?

Every effort is made to provide enough power per table as possible. However, it is recommended that you bring a power strip and extension cord just in case.


What time can I arrive to start my weekend retreat?

You will not be allowed in the retreat room before the start time on Friday as the vendors will still be setting up for you.  Start and end times on vary based on location.

 

What should I bring?

#1 – Comfortable clothes! Layering is best depending on the comfort level you desire.

#2 - Your scrapbook supplies AND pictures, or whatever you need to create your projects.

#3 – Your creativity!

Are there shopping opportunities?

That is our goal! We would love to have two or more vendors at each retreat, depending on space and their availability. 

We are always looking for new and innovative vendors. Contact us at kraftymoms518@yahoo.com if you would like to join as one of our vendors.

What do I do when my neck and back gets sore from all that creativity??

We have a licensed massage therapist for $1 per minute providing chair massages at every event for those sore muscles! Cash only.

Will there be classes offered?

Yes, we offer one free class per retreat! Just a little thank you to all our participants to show our appreciation for joining us.

The vendors will also offer classes at each retreat. There may be an additional fee for these classes depending on the vendor. All class samples, information & sign-up sheets will be available upon arrival.

Are there contests, giveaways and prizes?

Definitely! We offer many opportunities to participate in lots of fun contests and games.... and of course win raffle tickets to snag some great raffle prizes!

 

How do I earn raffle tickets?

You will have the opportunities to win tickets throughout the weekend by participating in our retreat games & contests.
 

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via personal Check, money order or PayPal.

 

What happens after I register for your retreat?

1. Once your registration form has been received, you will receive a confirmation email within 24-72 hours.

2. You will pay your non-refundable, non-transferable deposit via personal check, money order or Paypal. You will receive a confirmation email that your payment was received.

(All deposits must be received no later than 14 days after the date of your registration or your spot will be relinquished.)

3. Final payment is due by September 30th, 2018

($25.00 late fee applied if payment is received after the due date).

4. We will provide email reminders as payment due date approaches if not paid in full

5. Approximately 2 weeks before your retreat, you will receive an email with all the information you need for your weekend away as well as other emails with Retreat Information.

 

I have an emergency and need to cancel my weekend

We understand that emergencies arise and sometimes are out of your control.  Please see our Cancellation Policy. Unfortunately, the $75.00 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no refunds for "no shows", as the meeting space and all other expenses have been paid for.
